Full Stack Coding Bootcamp – JavaScript
“amazing and intense experience”
Before jumping into coding in Israel, I looked through quite a few institutions that provide education in this field and was very impressed with the high standards and professional communication of Developers Institute. The entry project was challenging… Read More enough, but not impossible to do and the Bootcamp itself was very intense, oriented on as much new information that can be learned and practiced and squeezed into every single day, week, month etc.. Very supportive instructors and a general can-do attitude of the whole DI team really helped to make this a very challenging but positive and most importantly learning experience.

Full Stack Coding Bootcamp – JavaScript
“Work-life changing experience”
Before Developer’s Institute, I had almost zero experience in tech. The Full Stack Developer program provided me with all the essential knowledge and skills needed for a junior full stack developer role, taking me from complete novice to job-ready.
After… Read More completing the bootcamp, I quickly landed an internship as a full stack developer. While it wasn’t my dream job, it was a crucial stepping stone. The bootcamp’s network proved invaluable – through connections and referrals, I navigated multiple interviews and landed a fantastic role as a Data Engineer in Tel Aviv.
My new position ticked all the boxes: vibrant office, flexible hours, great benefits, and most importantly, a mission I could get behind. I was thrilled to apply my skills in a meaningful way and enjoyed both the collaborative and independent aspects of the work.
Although recent industry shifts led to my position being cut, I’m confident in my abilities and the network I’ve built. The bootcamp not only equipped me with technical skills but also provided an expansive professional network that continues to open doors.
While job hunting again, I’m grateful for the solid foundation and connections the bootcamp provided. It truly kickstarted my tech career and gave me the tools to navigate the industry, even during challenging times.

Bootcamp : Web development
“Great School but needs updating for today’s market”
I graduated from the TTA program at DI and had an overall great experience. After spending a year self-teaching, I was looking for a place to solidify my learning foundation. I now feel confident in my full stack web development fundamentals. The teachers… Read More were helpful and encouraging, breaking down the biggest concepts into small, teachable units. They cover the most popular web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, React, Redux, and recently, TypeScript, all at an affordable price. If the class does not understand a concept, the teacher focuses on the issue and can even extend the program dates if needed, as they did with my cohort. The online platform used for lessons and practice is a great tool for solidifying the concepts.
Their career services helped me find an unpaid internship at a startup in Tel Aviv within a month of completing the program, providing real-world experience. They noted that only 40% of graduates secure employment through their internship in this market, but it’s better than nothing. It was an intense 3.5 months, but I am glad I sacrificed and invested in their course.
Now that I am a month into my unpaid internship, I do have some critiques and wish I had learned certain skills to better prepare me for the job.
Reading Others’ Code and Large Codebases:
A very important skill is dissecting another developer’s codebase, especially at a company. Currently, I feel lost and overwhelmed trying to learn the codebase at my internship.
Debugging Tools:
Part of understanding others’ codebases is using debugging tools. I cannot stress how much I wish I knew this going into my internship.
Cramming Many Languages and Tools:
They teach React, but I am currently using Angular at my internship. While constant learning is part of the career, it would help to learn “how to learn.”
Unit Testing:
Learning how to create tests was not part of the course. Many of my classmates and I feel this is a valuable skill. You can do the bare minimum for coding assignments even if they do not pass tests.
Deployment:
AWS is integral in every tech company. The interviews I had at startups were surprised I didn’t learn about AWS, and I had to spend a lot of my own time studying it. I wish they had spent more time on deployment instead of just 1-2 days.
The good news is, they listen to feedback well and will even change up the course mid course if needed. I am confident they will continue to improve. Overall, while the program taught many fundamentals, you will not be a full-stack developer at the end of 3.5 months. I think I still have at least another year of work to become a confident junior developer. Hopefully, I will gain employment after this internship.

Full Stack Coding Bootcamp – Python & Data
“An intensive full-time data analysis course that pays off but only if you work”
I attended the full-time Developers Institute Python & Data Analysis bootcamp in Tel Aviv. Morning sessions were from 9:30 to 12:30, with afternoon sessions from 1:30-4:30 being hands-on review sessions in which an instructor helps with any questions… Read More you have. Oftentimes, you have to work after hours in order to finalize your assignments and projects. The course covered SQL, Tableau and Power BI, but most of the focus was on Python, including its libraries related to data analysis, such as Pandas, Matplotlib, and scikit-learn, the last of which is a machine learning library. What you focus on in part depends on you as there are multiple projects throughout the course that gives you the freedom to choose your own topic and technological tools to use.
I joined this course because I was a financial professional looking to expand my skillset and learn new data analysis tools. This course was perfect for my purposes and helped me find work as a financial data analyst after the course. However, to actually squeeze serious learning into a 3 month period you have to be dedicated. You cannot assume that just by attending the classes you will absorb the skills. Programming is all about practice. If you don’t do the mandatory exercises and projects, and even the extra voluntary exercises on top of those, you won’t be able to develop the skills needed to pivot into tech. There is no magic formula. What you need are instructors that care about you advancing in tech and capable of giving over the knowledge needed for that advancement and opportunities to utilize the knowledge learned with tons of practice. DI does a great job providing that.
Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend DI to those on the fence about a bootcamp. Like I said, it’s not an automatic thing. You don’t get job offers just by graduating from a boot camp. You have to learn the material well, compose an impressive portfolio, learn the correct terminology to impress during interviews, etc… It’s just a lot easier to do this with an institution backing you and guiding you.

“Amazing practical course!”
As someone who wanted to learn programming but was stuck in a tutorial hell for a long time, Developers.Institute was a true blessing. It was very intense, but in a good way. The course is really well-structured: after a concise and straightforward introduction… Read More to the topic, you jump right into practice with lots of exercises and practical examples, and later you can use everything that you’ve learned in hackatons and personal projects. The atmosphere is friendly and supportive, and the instructors are super helpful, always available to answer your questions and give useful tips. Loved the online platform, very accessible and you can still review materials and do bonus exercises even after finishing the course. They also helped me find an internship, and during it I felt like my time at the bootcamp gave me a really solid foundation that will allow me to continue to work, learn and grow for years to come. Strongly recommend for those who are passionate about coding and prepared to fully commit.

“Bootcamp with great vibe”
I’ve studied on Fullstack engineer course in Developer’s Institute in 2023! It’s really good place to learn coding basics and start a career.
Of course 3 month is not enough to learn all the stuff, including HTML, CSS, Python, Django, Javascript, NodeJs,… Read More React. But you will understand all the concepts, than you have to practice, practice and practice.
Bootcamp is result oriented, so after you will have some projects you can add to your portfolio.
Besides studies you always can count on personal approach to any problem you have!

Regarding career support, the training helps us find internships by assisting with CV and portfolio creation, as well as coaching. Personally, I was able to secure a job directly without going through an internship, thanks to the LinkedIn network I developed during the training.
Many thanks to the professors and the development institute for this valuable experience and the opportunity to kickstart my career.
