“Best Data Science Bootcamp”
I enrolled myself in September for one of the Data Science Bootcamp. From the beginning I was given great support by my Academic Advisor(Harris) who walked me through the dashboard and some really great features it had. The course content was self-explanatory… Read More and having no background in coding I was a bit scared in the beginning but with the help of my mentor I was able to learn quickly. Though there was a rough patch initially, but everything worked out for the best because of the quick responsiveness of the support staff. The sessions provided hands-on learning experience with an industry expert who guided us throughout the journey. I am really pleased and would recommend people to enroll for this bootcamp if they are looking for a career enhancement/change.

I’ve been at the bottom and I’ve been at the top and I have been everywhere in between, I lost my business started working again and since covid happened my hrs got cut, you get the rest so I chose cyber security. Something less back breaking! -The Pros Excellent Coach Michael G. Detailed information / when there’s a question there’s always an answer! I just started my bootcamp and from what I’ve learned, I passed my first course on hardware and operating system fundamentals. There’s a lot more to go and with Michael G. On my side I am sure ill do well. Excellent Academic Advisor Aly L. Aly has been my go-to guy for everything, from asking about how and what I should do about taking exams and what I should focus on, what exact subject, particular information I should pay attention to, and what I should do to further my career in this field, I feel like there’s a lot in this boot camp. Excellent labs / live lectures / real people you can talk with. The rest is study study being self paced I recommend you study! The best part is, job support after you complete the bootcamp. -The Cons. I don’t think there are any? I just started, so there’s that and that’s pretty much it. I will Update this when I am done with my bootcamp. Furthermore – my take on everything; so far so good!

“I am Jack’s utter dismay and Buyers Remorse”
The labs are good because of the active nature, but lacking in description. Basically type tracert -d -h 3. What does all that other stuff mean? No clue. you’ll figure out later if you self study which is the majority of how this bootcamp operates. They… Read More promised instruction that ” will not be death by PowerPoint” (their words) but literally the entire class is that. the lectures are abysmal with horrible audio and bored instructors that sound like they’re doing you a favor explaining complicated topics. Once you get to the CEH lectures they are done by EC council which you could just save money and do on your own. I spent about 40-60 hours outside of the course material studying to pass my Network+ exam. Originally what was supposed to take 6 months or be self paced is neither. After firing one of the teachers and moving cohorts around we are now nearing an 8 month course and you cannot access anything unless you wait for the entire class to get to that point. It does allow for time to study on actual valuable things like playing around with Kali or exam practice(Also promised- not part of this). With so many free or cheaper options out there (which i needed to study anyway) to learn this material, I am having serious buyers remorse. This is operated through Quickstart and Im not sure who keeps giving them money. Look it up they just got a huge investment. I guess taking advantage of people who don’t know what else is out there pays off! The only actual pros besides the labs and projects are the teachers and people who work for the company are very responsive and helpful. 2 stars is being generous. But all of this could have been done cheaper and in a shorter time frame.

The material and resources provided were beneficial and related to the topics covered. At the end of this Bootcamp, I felt very confident in my knowledge of cybersecurity.
I cannot overemphasize how excellent the tutors were. They offered live mentoring sessions- the first I’ve ever experienced in online lectures. In all, I was delighted with my experience taking this course, and I will recommend it to anyone interested in cybersecurity.
